I suppose my love for marketing started in 1992. I had just moved to a new High School, but also wanted to be Senior Class President. Since I knew few people, I needed some serious marketing. I drafted mini-posters with a trivia fact and a simple "Vote for Rex". I've always had a knack for noticing human behavior and this time it taught me that teenagers do not look at walls when they walk -- they look at the floor. Armed with clear shipping tape, I covered the floors with these posters. Additionally, I walked up and down the halls sticking post-it notes to each locker with a simple "Vote for Rex" stamp. Something worked. I was elected President. Since then I've started and worked with numerous Small Businesses businesses to help them be seen and heard. Currently, I am the owner of Intersect Marketing Group; we focus on the Digital Marketing Needs for Small Businesses.
